Arrival Tashkent International Airport. Pick up from the airport & transfer to the hotel for check in & freshen up. City tour without guide in Museum of Applied Arts & Tashkent metro stations.

10.00 Full day city tour in old & new part of Tashkent. Visit: The architectural complex Khazret-Imam incl. necropolis of imam Abu Bakr Muhammad al-Kaffal Shashi (15th c.); Barak-khan Medressa (15-16th cc.); Tillya Sheikh Medressa (15-16th cc.) & Juma Mosque (15th c.). Visit Kukeldash Medressa (Foster brother) (16th c.) & Chorsu (Eski Juva) Bazaar (2nd — 1st century B.C.). Transfer to the new part & visit Independence square (1991), Memory square (1999), Broadway, Amir Temur square (1993), Temurids’ historical museum (1996), Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre Square (outside) (1939-1947), Palace of the Grand Duke Nikolay Konstantinovich Romanov (outside) (1889-1890), Chiming Clocks (1947 & 2009), The Roman Catholic Church (1913-1917), Russian Orthodox Church (XIXc.), Tashkent Metro stations.

12.00 Check out formalities from the hotel & transfer to Tashkent domestic airport to take afternoon flight of Tashkent – Urgench at 13.00–14.20pm. Arrival Urgench & transfer to Khiva (about 30 minutes’ drive). After hotel check in & lunch, half day guided city tour in Ichan Kala, inner town of old Khiva. Visit: Ichon-Qala Gates & Walls, Mohammed Amin Khan Medressa — 1850s, Kalta Minor minaret, Kukhna Ark, Mohamed Rakhim Khan Medressa, Sayid Alauddin Mausoleum & Music Museum, Juma Mosque & around. Mosque is interesting for the 218 wooden columns supporting its roof. The few finely decorated columns are from 10th century mosque.

18.00 End of tour & transfer to the hotel for Check in & rest.

Tea break at Bukhara Silk carpet showroom for short info about Bukhara carpets history. Continue tour & visit Complex Poi Kalon (Beneath the Great): Kalon Minaret (12th c.), Kalon Mosque (12th c.) and Miri Arab Medressa (16th c.), Ulugbeg Medressa (15th c.); Abdulaziz- Khan Medressa (17th c.); Magoki-Attari Mosque (10-16th cc.); Toki- Zargaron, Toki-Sarrafon, Toki-Tilpak-Furushon — shopping mall (15th-16thcc.), ChorMinar complex. 12.00 Check out from hotel & later after lunch transfer to Bukhara railway station for afternoon Afrosiyob train of Bukhara- Samarkand (15:20-17:03pm). After arrival Samarkand transfer to the hotel for check in & rest. Later visit to Registon square for night light & sound show (at own wish & like without guide & car). Lunch & Dinner at own.

10.00 Excursion in Samarkand (full day): First of all visit Mausoleum of Imam al Bukhari (810-880y.) – one of the famous Muhaddithes (Hadith writer) in Islamic World. Later visit Guri Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlane’sTomb) (14-15th cc.), Ruhabad Mausoleum (House of Spirit) (14th c.), Registan Square (A sandy place): Ulughbek Medressa (15th c.), Sher-Dor Medressa (Having tigers) (17th c.), Tillya-Kari Medressa (Coated by gold) (17th c.).

  • Continue city tour in Samarkand for half Visit:
